D-Rig Transportation's goal is to provide a healthy, accident-free workplace for all our employees, contractors and visitors. Maintaining a strong and effective health, safety and environmental program that protects the physical, physiological and social well-being of our employees, the public, as well as equipment, materials, and the environment from injuries, damage, or loss, due to the actions of company personnel. It is the responsibility and the commitment of the managers and supervisors to provide leadership in the health, safety, and environment programs, establish a health, safety and environmental policy (and procedures) and provide proper training and equipment.
D-Rig Transportation aims to provide our employees with the best possible training to ensure proper safety when hauling your equipment. The minimal training that a driver must have in order to be employed by us is;
- H2S Alive
- First Aid/CPR
- WHMIS
- TDG
- CSO
All D-Rig Transportation trucks are equipped with GPS devices and safety devices such as; tire chains, 2-way radios, first aid kits, spill kits, accident/incident kits, fire extinguishers, PPE and emergency triangles that are all inspected once a month by the Safety Representative.
